ROLLING THUNDER
home

Once upon a time, you know, the army got me

and sent me a letter saying had to go. Don't Shout!

Said goodbye to all my friends, Squeezed and kissed her,

dried her tears with my mouth and she said. Hmm. Will you back?

Flown over ocean and lands and clouds.

Landed at a field on a rainy day. Felt so bad and..  Get down

Now we're here in the mud, Charlie's shitting on my head,

Copter's far. No way out, baby… don't breathe.

Then we got back to base camp, at night with dust in every place,

felt the rats over my feet, hmm. Don't Shout

Supper's ready.  Everybody came, Drank a lot of warm beer

down in the bunker radio comes on:  hmm. Take care!

A jeep took us all to Saigon. Asked mama san to show us girls,

There she was a javanese. Hey!  Don't Push.

This super nifty babe, dancing all around the room,

While we trailed behind her, Again! Don't push.

I'd have stayed there till dooms day never been so glad like this.

I felt like being in a Rolling. Hmmm Thunder!!

Demons in my mind were roaring. I lost control and cried my eyes out.

before tumbling on the ground.  Please. Don't Touch.

Guys pick me up and put me in the jeep back to Base Camp

I felt pretty sick. "So what?" I said. Hmm. Shut up!!

Suddenly we were shot from all sides. I just laughed like  mad.

Mau, get out!  Chao Vinh Biet sweet Java girl

 Mayday! Mayday!
